Magazine historyThe magazine is issued six-times a year in every even month-end, it has 32 pages on coated paper, from which 24 pages are coloured and 8 pages monochromed. Addition to this the magazine has full-coloured cover on a tougher coated paper with 4 pages of tinted paper for current news, advertising and subscribing of collectors material. In this year magazine has already begun his XII. volume, when the first publication was issued in January 1996. But Merkur Revue has even older tradition, in years 1969 - 1971 was appeared likewise in Brno magazine „Merkur“, which has same directivity and conception like a today´s magazine MR. Merkur was direct forerunner of Merkur Revue. But it was only about philately.
